A refined and visually satisfying tidbit of a film, Steve Warne’s Savage Mountain lingers only as long as exactly needed. With skillful cinematography and some subtle-yet-grotesque movement, the tension between the two begoggled mountaineers is instantly apparent. It’s no surprise to find a long list of credits attached to his name, such as Isle of Dogs, Kubo and the Two Strings, and My Life as a Courgette, to name a few.

This one caught me off guard, I adore the chewing animation, and I’m delighted to share it.
